Walk or run with one dog for 30 minutes around its familiar neighborhood. The sidewalks will remain clean, too! Unafraid of any breed. Willing to walk small- to medium-sized dogs and well-trained muscular breeds; I'm short and lightweight. My default style of walking/running is liberal, allowing the dog to stop and smell the everything along the path or stare into the distance (NO EATING THOUGH), as often I deal with dogs who don't get much outdoor time, but I can also provide a disciplined and healthy jog that keeps the dog near me, on track, and its heart rate up. Even on a leisurely stroll, I do not engage with other dogs, so this will not be a social session or a trip to a dog park.
We'll familiarize ourselves in your backyard or living room to establish our relationship and the dog's personality.
Training & Qualifications
Dog lover, animal shelter volunteer, family petsitter. I've worked with as many small- to medium- sized breeds I could at a humane society as a dog walker over two summers, and I've petsat a shiba inu and shih tzu for years, and I've owned two mutts one of which looked like a boxer mix for years at a time.
